Amici is a chamber choir whose numbers vary depending on the works being performed. At full strength it numbers around 40 adults and students with big voices and a high standard of individual musicianship.
We are adventurous in our programming and like a challenge. We have presented multi-media performances, semi-staged oratorios and concert parties of operatic arias and Edwardian parlour songs; small ensemble pieces and full-scale works with orchestra, from the middle ages to 21st century, from masses to swing. Amici also tours abroad.
Membership is by invitation, but we are always interested in new voices.
