Wellington Choral Society
www.wellingtonchoralsociety.org.uk We are a friendly choir of about 80 mixed voices, performing two concerts a year, in November and March, with orchestral accompaniment and guest soloists. Over the years we have sung some challenging and unfamiliar pieces as well as most of the standard choral repertoire, including most recently Handel’s Messiah. Our Music Director is Laurence Blyth, a young and enthusiastic choral conductor who joined us in January 2011 and has rapidly established himself through both his musical and motivational abilities.
