A Little ‘Light’ Music
Wellington Silver Band with Somerset Opera Group
Come along to an evening of light music from Jazz standards, light classics, popular ballads, songs from the shows and classic film music. Plus, Somerset Opera Group will be presenting a selection of numbers from The Gondoliers by Gilbert and Sulivan. Entertainment for all the family.

Wellington Silver Band is a friendly band of about 20 playing members. We run concerts for charities, play at civic events, support local community events, and can be hired for bookings. We give a warm welcome to anyone wishing to join the band.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings, 7.30 to 10.00 p.m. We also run a training band (rehearsals 6.30 to 7.30 p.m.Tuesdays) catering for beginners. Youngsters of age 9 plus and adults of all ages and abilities are welcome. Tuition is free and instruments are loaned free (training and senior band) subject to availability.
